Assuming you would like a tutorial on how to make a floral dog collar: You will need: -1/4 yard of cotton or linen fabric (depending on the size of your dog’s neck)

-1/4 yard of interfacing -Scissors -Pins
-Sewing machine and thread -1 yard of ribbon, twill tape, or webbing (also depending on the size of your dog’s neck) -Floral embellishments (optional)
Instructions:

1. Cut out two rectangles from your fabric and interfacing using the following dimensions: length = circumference of your dog’s neck + 2 inches; width = double the width you want your finished collar to be + 1 inch. For example, if you want your finished collar to be 1 inch wide, then you would cut your rectangles to be 3 inches wide by however long they need to be based on the circumference of your dog’s neck.
2. Pin the rectangles together with the right sides facing each other. Sew around the perimeter with a 1/2 inch seam allowance, leaving a few inches open to turn the piece right side out. Be sure to backstitch at the beginning and end of this step.
3. Turn the piece right side out and press flat with an iron. Then top stitch around the entire perimeter with a 1/8 inch seam allowance, closing up the opening. This will give your collar some excellent structure.
4. Fold one long edge by half an inch and press flat with the iron again. Then sew close to this fold to create a channel for your ribbon, twill tape, or webbing later. Repeat this step for both long edges to have two tracks running along either side of your collar fabric rectangle – one near each long border.
5. Measure enough ribbon, twill tape, or webbing around your dog’s neck, plus an extra 4 inches (this will depend on how big your buckle is). Thread this through both channels, starting at one end and coming out at the other. Trim any excess off if necessary. If using ribbon instead of something more sturdy like twill tape or webbing, consider reinforcing it by stitching down along its length every few inches.
